Snip, Snip...Big Changes

There are a lot of changes going on here. Among the changes, the new blog officially starts up later this month and this:
While it could be mistaken for any number of unsavory objects, that is my ponytail. Detached from my head. Lying on a table.

Years to grow. A moment to snip.

And I cried. Ugly cried. I didn't expect to be so emotional.

Have you ever made a drastic cut, hair or otherwise?

I feel your pain. Totally feel your pain. Back in September I cut 16 inches off and balled....like a little baby about it. Even knowing it was for a good cause...I wanted MY hair back. I'm growing it...again....so even though I say I will not ever cut it again, I know I probably will. It's a vicious cycle. I'm sure your cut is very nice....and will be lovely and much appreciated during the coming warm months.

Isn't hair just a torture, I don't know how many times I've cried over my hair.

Not me! But a friend of mine does it every two years for Locks of Love.
You're braver than I!

I know how you feel. I'm still growing mine back. I bet you look great!

I cried tears of joy the other day when I realized that 20 months after cutting as much as you just did off - IT'S STARTING TO GET LONG AGAIN. Almost.

I am so happy I cried!

No worries... you look nice with long, short or no hair but I can relate to your feeling a bit sad about the loss. I'm sure the new cut looks super cute! I DO want to see a picture of your new "do"!

First, You are so beautiful (I mean truly) you could be bald and still look great.

Second, you have such a sense of style I am sure it will work.

Third, you must send photos.

Oh, my gosh! I can't believe you chopped it all off! Of course, you're so beautiful, you can pull off any hairstyle, but still. That is a big change. Dying to see a photo now!

"Our Family" said exactly what I was thinking.

Pish posh. Hair grows back.
The important thing now is rocking your new 'do as only you can do. :-)

Now, bring on the pics!

I just cut 10 inches off my hair last week! Must be something in the air that makes us want to cut our hair this time of year! Post a pic soon! I'm ready for Spring! Hope you and your family are doing well! Miss you!

Hi Angela,

So glad to see you blogging...your new "do" is beautiful...I went drastic after Will was born, thought I needed "simple" so went super short---ugly cried as well. I learned never to make hair decisions under sleep deprivation or choose hairstyles that cannot be pulled back into a ponytail when desperate. :)

You are too funny....great p'tail AND your new cut is adorable AND hair grows back! I got 1 1/2 inches cut off mine yesterday...went from pony to no pony! The older one gets the shorter the hair seems to get. It's all about bringing the 'eye' UP!

Blessings!
